My May/June Journal

Goal Weight:  130
Mini goal:  135 on 6/2/04!  
Goal Pant Size:  10 or smaller      
Exercise Goal:  4-5 days per week.
Weigh-In Day:  Wednesday
Body Type:  Thin/muscular arms & legs, big boobs, fat waist, and no hips.  Kind of like a guy.  I carry my fat in my belly.
Other:  I'm also a breastfeeding mom!

Decided to change my weigh-in day from Friday to Wednesday because I was not staying on program AT ALL on the weekends!  Been doing pretty well this past week.  I really splurged last Friday because we were in St. Joe, but have done well since then and it showed!  Lost a pound!  Still doing good with the water intake.  Our stash of sweets is starting to be depleted, so that's good.  If it's not in the house, I can't eat it!

Lost a half pound, but no budge in the measuring tape.  That's a little frustrating.  I could've been more diligent in counting points this week.  I'm thinking I might need to drop my point range down a point or two.  That'll be hard to get used to!

Woo hoo!  Another pound gone!  The measuring tape STILL hasn't moved, but it'll catch up sometime.  I've really buckled down this past week.  I decided that the fat isn't magically going to go away, I have to DO something about it.  I'm exercising as much as I can, so the only thing left is my diet.  I dropped my point range a couple of points, but did a low, low day on Tuesday (23 pts, so not THAT low).  I'm thinking of dropping my point range again.  I'm eating too much.  Guess 10 extra points for breastfeeding is too much for me.  We've been eating salad almost every night with supper, so that's been helping too.  I hope I can keep this motivation going!

WOW!  I'm so proud of myself!  Lost a pound and a half this week and the measuring tape is finally moving!  Lost a half-inch in the bust and a quarter-inch in the waist.  Only half a pound from my mini-goal!  Have been eating 5 extra BF points and am doing the Wendie Plan.  On the Wendie Plan, you rotate points like I've been doing, but you have a super-high point day mid-week where you eat 10 points over your max (so I would get 15).  Looks like things are working for me, so I'm going to stick to it.

Made my mini-goal of 135 today!  I'm the tiniest bit disappointed that I didn't lose more, but it's my own darn fault.  I have a cold and I didn't stick to my low-point day yesterday.  The pistachios were calling to me and I just didn't have the willpower to say no.  The measuring tape showed some nice losses in inches, so I can't complain too much.  Hope to lose the last five by July!

Another pound gone!  Not much budge in the measuring tape, but that seems to be my pattern.  Gonna really try to buckle down and get to 130 by July!

No change this week.  What a bummer!  Went to my parents' house this weekend where we ate out to celebrate my dad's birthday, so I ended up having 2 SHP days last week.  Guess I won't be losing those last 5 by July.  Oh well.  Gonna keep on truckin'!

Grrr!!  Stayed the same AGAIN this week!  Maybe I'm not being honest enough about what I'm eating.  I have been winging it a little lately.  Guess I need to stop that.  I'm also considering changing my weigh-in day again.  Seems like I like my SHP day on Fri., but my SHP should really be on WI day.  So hard to decide!  Did lose a half-inch in the waist this week, so that's something.  I figured some stats to give me a boost.  Since I started in January, I've lost 13 lbs. and 9.25 inches--4.25 inches in the bust, 3.25 inches in the waist, and 1.75 inches in the hips.  It's going SO slowly, but I guess that's for the best since DD is nursing.  This weekend will be difficult because a friend is having a Pampered Chef party Friday night and we're going to a wedding Saturday night.  Gonna do my best to not go crazy.

Huh!  Gained a pound, but lost a half-inch in the bust (who knows how true that is, though, since I'm nursing) and a quarter-inch in the waist.  I didn't count points last weekend, so the gain was expected.  Just as long as the measuring tape is showing a loss, I'm happy.
